Frightening night essay

She hit a roadside signpost and the engine went off. We stay silently in the car for a couple of minutes before any of us said a single word. Shortly, she gathered courage and began searching for where she had kept her phone. She intended to use the phone as a flashlight to ascertain the damage or call for help.

The vehicles cruised at a comfortable speed, lighting up the night sky with a mesh of red and blue while silently following each other. The youngest controlled the front car; after the first half of the ride, his anxiety began to wane and his attention was pulled to the sky.

It was late in the evening the weather was windy and we thought it would be better if we got home before the weather worsened. We bid the other family members goodbye and we hoped into my dad’s truck. My sister had just got her license and she wasn’t very confident on the road so she drove slowly.
